Wooster Mt. Range date close?

Guys,

anyone know the last weekend Wooster is open for the season. Trying to get out before frigid temps, but don't know when that will be.

I think their closed up for the winter all ready. Last year I think they closed for winter in October. So im gonna assume their closed already if not they are defiantly closed being the first week of November and all.

I wish I got out there more often but the construction on Rt.7 for that new power line really discouraged me from going and they charge rediculous prices if you wanna rent a target stand.

If you find out that there open, post it on this thread. I defiantly wanna pop off a few rounds before they close shop for the winter.

I was always under the impression that they don't close until there is snow on the ground.

that's what I have heard too, but was hoping someone had a definite answer.

When I was trap shooting there last year I asked if they shoot trap in the winter, and they said as long as there is no snow on the ground, they are open...

Not sure about the regular shooting range weekends though.

I may take a drive there today, I will see....

UPDATE.

I spoke to a friend today who has a family member that works at the range.
She said they are planning to close by December..
They are slated to reopen by April.
So it looks like a couple more weeks left.

Trap shooting may still run longer, I couldn't get that answer.
