Ok, so I have a real 4 position trigger pack getting reworked to accept my Qualified sear to work with my MM23E and MP5SD.

However, I have really come to like the looks of the 4 position lower, and would like it to even be on the two guns when they are semi auto and the sear is in the other gun. I know that I can have the 4 position lower with a semi auto trigger group in it, because I have seen it done, but what all do I need to get to change the standard safe/semi complete trigger pack to this? Would it be just the outer plastic trigger housing, and the Ambi selector lever? Or is there something else that I need? Thanks for your help and patience with my noob question.

Thanks,

HK4 barrel threading/suppression

I bought an HK4 a while back and fell in love with it so much I decided to get a second one to remain a dedicated suppressed model. I saw some posts here about the difficulty involved with threading these barrels and that Mark@ TROS was doing them. With this in mind I started purchasing the parts and conversion kits (and a complete second gun and suppressor) and now that I am at the final step, I got a reply from Mark saying the HK4 barrels are "quite hard" and he no longer offers threading services for them.

Anyone have experience doing these, or know a shop that has done them successfully? I would be doing a .22 barrel first (tons of meat on these!) with the possible option of threading a .32 barrel afterwards.

So I noticed the RONI-HK1. It has probably been out a long time but I just ran across it. I had seen it in a Glock format. I was thinking about picking up a used USP 9mm and SBRing it. Just for the heck of it. That being said, filing a Form 1 is my question. Wouldn't you have to engrave the actual USP? If so, where would one recommend that engraving actually go on the USP. Slide, frame, etc...

Pick up my HK45 FDE Tactical today (Will post the link later today, they have 10 more in stock at $1259, but want mine in my hands first!!) and Osprey is on the way, but when I went to order the piston for the HK thread, I was told to check on here to see if there are any special springs I need to buy for it. The salesman said he thought the HK45 needed a certain recoil spring in the piston to make the suppressor function properly. Any ideas on this?
If youre a vendor and reading this, I need to order this part so please PM me with a price and how to order.
Also need a HK45 thread protector ! Its bad enough that gun was so expensive, but they cant include something like that with it?

So I was a part of the group buy for the KAC SD cans and I still HAVE NOT received mine from Cliff Decker. Has anyone else had this problem?

He was nice enough to hold it for me as I was living overseas and I finally contacted him last Sept to start the transfer. It wasn't until the first week of March before he had the Form 3 back (ok, a little long...), and to this day he has not put it in the mail to my FFL. While Cliff seems like a nice guy when I've spoken with him on the phone, I keep getting excuses as to why the suppressor hasn't shipped. Now he's not even returning my emails.

Just wanted to run this by anyone here who might know Cliff or have some suggestions for me.

Thanks!

What exactly do these magical parts do anyway? Do they control ROF?
I know to run a suppressor on the k you need a different locking piece or it won't cycle correctly. Can you use a recoil booster like those on a pistol and avoid changing the locking piece?

Kind of off topic but can you set up an NFA trust at a PO box and leave the items in a storage unit in a safe of course? or perhaps a safety deposit box if its a RDIAS or registered sear or suppressor? I live in NJ but do most of my shooting in PA on a family farm. Can I set up a trust perhaps at a family members house if the safe in a storage unit or safety deposit box avenues don't work?

After 20 years of owning and shooting FA Uzis and Mac style subguns I finally broke down and bought a HK sear, a MP5K host and an HK93 host. The MP5K performed like crap out of the box. 1 FTE every 10 rounds. Thanks to the information on this board and some help from hkparts.net, I was able to replace the likely culprit parts and yesterday, I ran 10 mags through the gun without a hiccup. I now have the smoothest most controllable subgun that I have ever fired and I am going to give the HK93 a try this afternoon. Without the information on this board, I would be the proud owner of a $25,000 boat anchor. Thanks again.
