Quick question. Just got lucky enough to pick up a match trigger kit to drop into my .45 USP. I would like to do this install myself, however, I can't help but be a little worried. From what I've read, this doesn't sound too difficult. I live in WA and don't want to have to ship my gun out. It's my Duty carry firearm. Exactly how hard is this thing to install? Also, would installing it myself void the warranty on my USP?! Thanks for the help!

Hey guys,

Just wanted to tell ya'll - I placed an order for a FDE/Tan HK Pistol Case and a set of 6 Posters from the HKUSA Webshop - and it came with THREE free hats! The OD, Tan, and Black /w Red Trim! I'm so happy - it made my day! Now I have an HK Hat to fit EVERY occasion! If this was a mistake, I could understand - but I'd like to think HK likes me ;)

Thanks again, HKI!

Hello HK .CS

I just noticed a crack in the grip of my USP9 Combat Competion. It starts from the texturing on the grip and contuinues to the base of the grip above the JF. I took the JF off and the crack does not go all the way thorugh the grip. Hopefully the picture comes out well enough to see it. It is definitely not a scratch, and the pistol has never been dropped or abused in any way. This was my 1st HK and I love it!!!

Any advise would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Kevin

I contacted HK this morning about a very unusual and challenging problem with an HK45 LEM conversion that I have been trying to figure out for the past year to no avail (even with a bunch of advice and a generous amount of help from a number of HKpro members, with TooSixy in particular going out of his way to assist). I finally broke down and called HK.

The customer service rep I talked to this morning tried to help me for quite a while (I did not get his name, but he had a relatively young sounding voice and was very pleasant), but he eventually said he was stumped and that I would need to talk with Sam and transferred me. I got voicemail and left a message and figured I would hope for the best but not expect too much. Sam called me just a few hours later. He patiently listened to every bit of my long and sordid explanation of the problem (without laughing at me even once) and then quizzed me a bit, had me strip down my pistol, walked me through testing a a bunch of things and finally identified exactly what was wrong (nothing more than one of those rare instances of a slightly out of spec part, but I would not have figured that out on my own in a hundred years). He authorized a return order and said send it in and he would take care of it right away.

I have read some criticism about HK customer service in the past, but I just can't take it seriously now. This was my first time dealing with HK directly, and all I can say is that I was damn impressed. Bottom line: Customer support doesn't get any better than what I experienced today!

Thanks Sam...
