Hi all...

Been a member here for quite some time (2009 if I remember). I read a lot, and use search functions somewhat competently, so mostly find little reason to post questions.

Anyway, While living in California, I was fortunate to start my HK purchases with a HK 45c after holding one at the SHOT show in '09, followed not too far behind by a USC. I love both, so when a sight-unseen HK 91 came available, (and I'd left California) I bought it too.

I have a few more on my WTB list... Things the way they are right now, that will have to wait for a bit.
I'd like a full size HK 45, and a MR223, but suspect a 416-22 will be first.

Hi guys. I have been a fan of HK for an very long time.
The last time I shot one was about 10yr ago and I have never been an HK owner.

Soon I'd like to change that with an P2000 but I live in South Africa so my options are not as easy as in the US. If I do buy one it will be an take what you can get kind of scenario.

My Q is on the LEM and DA/SA trigger. I have seen most of the videos and reviews but the info isn't what I'm looking for.

What I'd like to know is what is the pull of an uncocked LEM vs uncocked DA/SA.
What is the trigger pull of an cocked LEM vs cocked DA/SA?
People keep on comparing an uncocked DA/SA to an cocked LEM.....

Is the LEM simply an DA/SA with the hammer lowered and an long SA pull?

Pretty new to pistols in general. I currently carry a HK45c and love it. Started with a Ruger, 20 some years ago, sold it within 6 months after firing about 15 rounds. 2 years ago bought a Springfield XD9 which I really enjoyed. Shot a friends Sig229 and loved that gun. Traded a burned out Jeep for a USP 45 compact 50th Anniversary edition. That gun was awesome so sold it because it was too nice to daily carry and bought my current HK45c. I shot my first USPSA match with it this past Sunday and came in 11th out of 15 in my division. Not bad considering I was an inch shorter than any other barrel out there. Felt pretty good about not shooting my own foot or anyone elses and didn't get disqualified so feeling pretty good about it. I plan on shooting some more of those cause it was so much fun. One day I want to own a mark 23. That's my history and looking forward to reading some cool stuff here.

OK I get to ordering a B&T 10266 mount from a SHOP on gunbroker. I get this thing in the mail ..no B&T markings , stuck in a zip lock bag , that's it no instruction sheet at all
I was under the impression I didnt have to take the feet off to get it to mount just leave them loose snap it over and tighten it up ? I have the obvious feeling that its a knock off
and out of spec because its going on a Dakota Tactical D54 and joes guns arent out of spec.... SO am I just putting this clunker on wrong or what ? I think I will be 86ing it and waiting for wolverine supply to get more in stock ...live and learn I guess

I have an HK P30 9 mm for now to get my girlfriend used to it and then I will switch most likely to the .40 or a .45 tactical for myself.

Current nightmare that won't seem to end is that I cannot seem to locate 15 round mags? I'd like to get a few of them, but everywhere online is out and no local stores have them. What's the scoop? What good is my gun if I run out of ammo in a bind. Please help if you know where I can buy some. Really would appreciate it. Great community on here and one of the reasons that I got another HK.

Hello All,

I got my SL8 now looking to convert to G36c or 36K
What all do I need? I've been shopping the typical sites, and the WTS forum.
Anyone have a complete parts list?
I'm pretty sure I want to go the Tom Bostic route as per the rear weld/de-milled & Mag cut out.
Just not sure about compatibility of BCG, recoil rod, barrel, etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Picked up my first HK today. Got the p2000sk LEM. I rented one at my local range a few weeks ago and could not get over how nice the gun felt to hold and shoot. I've always been a Glock guy but started reading and doing research on HK's. I'm now a believer. this has to be the nicest trigger system I have ever shot. The groupings I was able to get we're amazing.

The hard part was actually finding a new p2000sk in stock. Happened to luck up and find one online and didn't think twice about pulling the trigger on the purchase.

The only grip I have is why both mags have the extended floor plate. The way I shoot it pinches my fingers a little. I will have to look out for the flat floor plates but they seem to hard to find as well. But this is a minor grip.

Next on my list is a HK45C!

Glad I just found this site, always seem to find better info and people on dedicated forums. Anyway, I have a chance to buy a brand new, in the boxes P7 kit. I'm told it hasn't been fired, but didn't get it long enough to look in all the bores. It has some smudges on the gun but looks new. I don't remember if the books were in the box. I have only a couple of days to decide to pull the trigger (pun intended-HA!). All three barrles are there with the .22 slide, tools and magazines, in the two plastic HK boxes. I would only do this if I could turn it over fairly quickly, because I have my eye on a Russian AK that my wife wants. Any guidence and suggestions of a rough estimate of the value would be appreciated. I understand that the value hinges on what it looks like. Thanks for any help you can give me.
