This looks awesome. Appears a whole lot grittier and seems like they fixed all that sucked in the first movie. Less high technology suits and unstoppable energy weapons. More guns, vehicles, and characters that look like they should (i.e. Coba Commander and Cobra soldiers, Red Ninjas, Rattlers, etc.) Production value seems higher as well and hopefully they're sticking closer to the source material. Things like G.I. Joe and Transformers were popular for reason, and I never understood why Hollywood always seems to have to re-interpret these things when they adapt them for the big screen (read Transformers sucked Michael Bay!).
Looks pretty damn good and I will definitely see this when it opens. I grew up on G.I Joe and there will always be a special place in my heart for it.
My mission: To convert every HK USP, HK45, and HK45 Compact shooter on the planet to Variant 9. It will serve as a stop gap until all realize the clear superiority of the P30LS 9mm!

Too bad it isn't Scarlett, it's Lady Jaye. Looking at IMDB, Scarlett doesn't return unless she's among the group getting wiped out at the beginning. I love me some Scarlett too though Lady Jaye is pretty hot herself!Originally Posted by SDduc996

As long as there will be 2D showings still, it doesn't really matter to me when it comes out...it's not exactly masterpiece theatre anyways. I'm going for a popcorn eating, brain-checking-at-the-door, attempt to recapture some of my 80's childhood youth/spirit not gotten from the 1st flick or bayformers. (yeah, I know I'm not easy to please, lol)
