Are they measured the same way? I'm not at all familiar with the 93.
You must have better info than I. I don't have an armorer's manual. When I press in a barrel I try to set them at .020 then I pin it. After firing the weapon I end up with around .018. This has seemed to work for me. I can go up or down with rollers. I am not a gunsmith, this is just a hobby for me. What do you think of the way I do it?
Oh yeah, that'll work fine. I shoot for .018, .019, or .020 when installing a barrel. If it's .016 or .017, I push it out and go again. Well I used to anyways, now I just push it back the other way a little bit. :) If I got .020", I'd leave it there and call it a day. I'm not really sure why they call .018" "ideal". It doesn't go into any detail as to why that would be the sweet spot.
What? No manuals? Why didn't you say so?
And go easy on the stevespages ones, whenever people start downloading all of them, he takes them all down for a while.
