Default .22 Cal MP5 coming to market?

A while back there was quite a bit of buzz about Cohaire as well as GB on this site, coming out with a .22 cal MP5 clone that would work with a sear. Are these still in the works? Is anyone else going to come out with such an animal? As a side note: is it possible to buy one of the old Fleming kits or something similar?

It is my impression that Cohaire has put on hold the CA 89/22 while they get the system up and running for the CA 415 and the MWS rifles. I know they are working on the 22 cal CA89, which is intended to run using 10/22 magazines and will run a sear. I let TB know that I wanted to buy two of them when they come out.

Is this the kit you're talking about?

Good luck getting hold of one. I asked GB about buying one of these but I don't think he handles them anymore. But if you have the time and money, you can probably find a German .22 kit or an older Fleming kit if you look hard enough.

Yup, I notice that all mention of it was pulled off the website. That was one of the options I was looking at. The HK kit is way out of my price range. I've put up a few WTB ads for a Fleming kit but have yet to find one.

subcal.com is down. Many of us would like to get hold of these kits but don't know how.

This. I've tried searching for Fleming's email but haven't been able to turn it up. Several years ago I sent him an email ... can't find that email either.
