    Default G&G MP5 mount

I purchased a G&G MP5 mount for my CA89SD. While it's not a MPI it was only $56.00. Fit and finish is excellent and installed in a breeze.

sweet! can you see the front sight through your normal hk sights ?

I'm wondering if a aimpoint or something would be doable and still be able to use the factory sights...

I have a clone built on a Special Weapons receiver, and have tried both B&T and UTG mounts. Neither fit properly because the SW receiver is out of spec (too wide). Was considering milling some material out of the mounts, but may just go the G&G route. Where did you get it?

I'm using the ATI claw mount made for a GSG on both my CA89 and CA89K. Fits just fine.

It is more likely that the paint is too thick rather than out of speck receiver. Each leg of the mount is adjustable. I got it at rrages.com very reliable.

Not the paint... Has a thin moly coat. Measured the SW receiver accross the tabs and compared to a factory HK. Not a huge difference, but enough to prevent proper rail install. Again... not height of tabs, but width.

Give this rail a try, I bet it works for you. I had a ATI mount and it wouldn't work. It was just cheap cast aluminum, the G&G mount is much better made.

Where did you buy the G&G mount? Has anyone use these on a bobcat?
