    Default How to headspace?

    wanting to go ahead a press my RCM 53 barrel into my RCM 53/93 trunnion and headspace it. but i was wondering if its best to weld the trunnion in the receiver and press the barrel in then have a stock or end cap assy with recoil assy in place to apply the proper force on the bolt/carrier for headspacing OR can i just use my bolt/carrier to manually lock it into the trunnion outside of the receiver using hand pressure?

    Hammer pressure along with re-coil rod tension is the best.
