That is the semi-auto two-round burst setting. You need to contact BATFE and turn youself in for creating a machine gun!
Anyone have an issue/experience where, with a semi or sear pack, an MP5 clone shoots after the trigger is released and not when the trigger is pulled. Had this happen on a clone pistol where sometimes it would fire when the trigger was pulled and next shot it would not fire on the pull, but on the trigger release?????? Any help/thoughts would be appreciated .......thanks!!!!

Seriously it sounds like the semi-auto hammer or the semi-auto sear are misaligned. Try a different triger pack and see if the firearm still has the symptom happen again. If it doesn't, swap the hammers between the two packs and then test the malfunctioning pack and see if that cures the problem. If it doesn't, switch the semi-auto sear and then retest. If it cures the problem, then put the original hammer back in the malfunctioning pack and see if the problems reoccurs, it it doesn't they it was the semi-sear.
it did it with both the semi lower and the sear pack (2 different lowers)....so same problem with both
did it on semi and full auto with sear pack....in auto, I would fire a controlled burst, release the trigger, and pull again.....then nothing until I released the trigger and then boom, a single shot would go off or no shot would go off
the sear pack works fine on other 9mm, 223, and 308 hosts...???????????????
Help!!!!!
Where,s all the full auto guys when you need em? I guess your SOL bro.
gee thanks!
Well, what's really odd is that it does it with TWO different packs... a sear pack and a S/A. My first guess would be as HKINAK said, mis-installed sear/spring but tow different packs would point to something in the receiver/carrier area.
What it sounds like is happening is that something in the recever is hanging-up the hammer. When you squeeze the trigger and nothing happens, the sear has already disengaged the hammer. When you release the trigger, there must be enough movement in the pack to break the hammer free and it drops.

could the locking piece have anything to do with this??? spec issue? any stabs...
Do you have another bolt and carrier that you can swap? I would pull the bolt and check the carrier to see what kind of marks you are getting. If the firearms is doing this with two packs, then there is something wrong with the trigger pack alignment to the receiver. If you are running the sear and the semi-auto pack in two separate fire control boxes, then it is something with the carrier/recoil rod, or the alignment of the trigger pack to the receiver.
that was my take....agreed........thanks.....
