Default HK "enhanced" buffer from ADAM

Anyone have any exp. with the HK 91 "enhanced buffer " from hkparts that is on sale for 149$. I just got one in the mail. I know its not the heavy style, but I didnt want to alter anything on my rifle. It has a longer pin and body, and is HK made. I,m hoping it reduces alittle recoil. Its supposed to go in the msg90/psg-1 rifles. Thanks any input will do.

I have both a heavy two stage buffer and the PSG1 buffer both are really good and are a big improvement over the standard HK buffer but I am not really sure which is better. I have actually seen this question come up before and I have never really seen where anyone knows for sure which is the best. I figure it has to be good if they use it in the PSG1 and the MSG90.

Personally I think I would try the ghillie buffer and save some $. I did not have that option at the time. I think I will be trying one of Bill Springfields modified buffers in my wood stock I am interested to see how much of a difference this will make.

I will find out soon, very soon. It fit right in and i was able to get a few turns of the rear screw to get it tight. My FMP stock has a sliding piece inside the hole that it go,s in.Cant figure out why the screw seems short all of a sudden. Oh,well. Find out sunday. Got some 155gr TAP that I,m going to try.

I just bought a GhillieBuffer. Can't wait to get it and try it out. The recoil isn't that bad, it's just that the standard buffer just seems really... I don't know... I just can't see how it can work very well at all. I can get the piston to give a little bit if I put my entire body weight on the back and the piston on something really solid. I'm just looking to get my follow up shots back on target quicker. I'm thinking about a PWS fsc91 comp too. Everything I have heard about them has been good, but for that kinda $$$ it should be : )

I,m sure jeffs are lengthened piston like all the others. Jeffs are alot cheaper ,I agree. Just like to stick with factory parts.

You will love Ghillie's buffer. I'd try it first. I put on the PWS comp at the same time. It really took some muscle to get the comp to time with the logo in the up position as it should be.
Before you sell that firearm, ask yourself, "can I afford another one if I ever wanted to replace it ?".
