Default is it ok to bend/tweak ejector lever on k clone?updated with requested pics

I am still trying to get this pos to work, have new semi group I bought from RTG. I installed, and when i cycle by hand, it occasionally has the ejector lever miss the groove for it in the boltcarrier by just a tiny bit causing it to jam. I tried to shoot it and it does it everytime......do you guys ever bend the ejector arm to align it perfectly? It looks like it might be brittle and i didnt wanna risk snapping it before asking you guys first. thanks

Have you checked the trigger pack to make sure there is minimal gap between the two sides holding the ejector lever. You can do this by removing the lower and trying to push the tip of the ejector lever left & right. If you're getting too much lateral motion, you should remove the lever and compress that internal tab to make the fit tighter. It still needs to move up and down freely though so don't compress it too much.

This is probably the case if the lever tip is binding on the right side of the groove. Or the left side if you've flipped it over to look at it.

Well lay your ejector lever down on its side and see that it lies flat.

If your pack is not loose then there is some other alignment issue. A bent ejector lever is the likely culprit.

If you have to bend the lever, make sure you do it at a point high enough toward the tip so that it doesn't interfere with the trigger pack in any way. The safest way would be to bend the actual tip left or right just a bit.

Oh, I had no idea it was a Vulcan. Sorry about that. It does not have a separate bolt head. You really need to mention this sort of thing when asking for info, as it could greatly impact the advice you get. The designs can be quite different.

    thedave8,
Man....are you still wrestling with that vulcan!! Site down the ejector lever & make sure the tip is parallel with the rear/ramp section. Keep in mind the ejector levers are heat treated. so you can only "tweek" the tips. Anything remotely agressive will give you problems. Also make sure your ejector tip is not "popping" up too high either & making contact with the bottom of the bolt head as well. If that is the case & your ejector lever has the rear hump/ramp...then you can flatten out that area (get rid of the hump) in the rear. Also if you chamfer the top right & left edges of the tip, that will help guide the tip into the bolt head slot.

I bent my buddys ejector at the range while it was still in the trigger housing. He had the same problem but his was a JLD. After I bent it to align, it has not had any more problems

If its slightly tweaked left or right, it can be bent. Being heat treated; if it has to be something major l/r or up/down, I'd heat a section away from the ejector tip red hot. Then bend it, let it air cool from there. It would probably crack otherwise.
