    Question Sight adjustment for elevation

I did a search and read the page here regarding adjusting HK sights.

The instructions describe how to adjust POI for windage but not for elevation.

For elevation, if the POI is below the POA does that mean I want to turn the rear drum clockwise or counter-clockwise (when looking from the top) once the sight adjustment tool is inserted?

Also, is there a page/link/document describing how to select the appropriate aperture for a given shooting distance?

Thanks again for your time Jeff.

I'll post a proper range report after I have another chance to take the pistol out.

Welcome to the forum. For those that don't want to call Jeff, the rear sight for HK roller locked guns are set at the factory. HK makes a special tool to adjust the rear sight. A pair of needle nose pliers can be used. Spinning the drum will change the aperture but not the elevation. At the bottom of the page of the linked page will give the details. Good luck adjusting the sights to your liking.

I picked up a contract sight adjustment tool from RobertRTG. It works and is a lot cheaper than the German or US made tool.

This is what I've been using as well. A little more costly than a set of needle nose pliers but it works perfectly.
