Range Report Vector V53K not good!!

Lesson learned, don't F1 a firearm that doesn't work. I'm sure you will get it working...,

Just shot my vector v91 with the mp5 style short cocking lever front end. loaded an old aluminum and a steel mag with different rounds, mixed 7.62 and 308.
not one thought of an issue, first mag break-in style. second mag as fast as I could shoot it. then a 10 round cheap plastic. not a blink. perfect shooting rifle.
glad I didnt go the 53 way. but I do have a .40 mpg vector coming. ready for anything, but happy the rifle worked.

My 51P shot awesome right out of the box too. I used 20 year old military surplus and a drum mag and it ate it like a champ!

I was just wondering.do you use a #15 in your 53K??

Mine has the Vector LP. I did find that mine preferred the Vector ejector vs. either of the two HK's (the true 53 is shorter). My V53P preferred the shorter HK53 ejector. I forgot to mention that earlier.

OK, so you have the Vector modified #8? Hmmm, maybe just changing my spring will fix it.

That was all mine needed. But did you read my reply regarding the roller marks? I think Vector made some change to my LP to correct that issue. Keep a close eye on your receiver as they are easy to overlook.

So, I got my new springs today from Adam and the first thing I noticed was that the 53 spring was about 4-5 inches longer than the one Vector supplied. The action is far smoother now and really feels good. Range report to follow in the next day or so.......
