Ahh, lower pack? SUO semi.
No LP= locking piece.... What number locking piece is in the bolt group
^^^^^^^^ that. Locking Piece / LP
Got it , I will check and then post the number that is one there.
OK, here are the numbers: it should be noted that one one side of the mag well, it is stamped V93 then the other side 53K.
The bolt, not sure if that is what it is called, the small silver piece that the locking piece fits into is marked 003337 and BW.
The LP is a #15.
Does this help understand what is happening with this weapon?
Thanks for all your help guys!
how high does the ejector lever sit in the bolt head when the cocking lever is pulled to the rear? New Vectors seem to be notoriously bad for having low shelves and therefore not getting the ejector in position to remove the spent round......pull the cocking lever to the rear and see if the ejector is high up in the channel in the bolt head or if there is a gap
I would not waste my time sending it back to Vector......send it to Ghillie and get it done right if you can't get it running.......I bet it will work and look a heck of a lot better than the finish on it now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My first thought was to send it to Vector because it is under warranty. After what I spent on the gun I don't think I should have to spend any more money just to get it to function...
Just spoke to Vector and they were very friendly. They said that the K models are notorious for needing to be broken in and that I should try another 100 rounds or so of steel case ammo. If after that, it is still malfunctioning they said they would be happy to take it back and look at it, no cost to me. Thoughts??
