So far everyone I have spoken to there has been very friendly BTW.
Vector is starting to sound like century. The last c93 P I saw was going for 750.00 too and you might have gotten a better gap lol. .007 is sad for a new Vector build.
So, whats your gap now that you"ve fired enough through it for it to settle?

Check which ejector you have in your V53K, my V53 came with and works great with a HK93 / 33 ejector and does not work with the shorter tail of the HK53 ejector.

Ok, just because I feel really generous tonight... and bored, I will submit this as a reference photo:
    From top to bottom...

    HK33/93
    HK53

Just a couple of notes. The newest MP5 has a little bump on the top rear part to give it that little extra "UMPH" when ejecting. I didn't feel like removing mine from the gun just for this photo.

    Secondly, you're welcome.

My ejector is the second one down, 53/93. After this trip to the range bolt gap increased slightly to .008.

FWIW: Vector grinds down the LP's for the V53K.

BTW: Mine prefers the HK53 shorter ejector, not the longer one provided by Vector.

Shorter ejector? You are using a registered FA pack right? Would/could that make the difference as I am not?

It's worse than pathetic it's negligent. The poor guy paid good bucks for a gun that has very little life left in it. IMO if a HK clone does not have .015 + after several hundred rounds, and if it does not STAY there for a LOOOOONNG time there is something wrong

I hate to say it but good luck with that. I've had VERY bad experience with the "new Vector". Long story short: they had my weapon for Five months because it came to me from the factory with a bad trunion and a barrel pressed in crooked. Got it back after all that time and it's still not right.
