PTR 91 Classic Black CDNN Exclusive review.

Hey all.

First I wanted to say to the guys that gave me all the input thanks as that is what the core of this board is for.

Picked up the PTR91 from my dealer Monday afternoon. Also being the nice guy he is I got to test the rifle out via the range at the back of the store and also let me have a box of ammo.

Now one of things I had heard was how finicky these rifles were with surplus ammo so the first test fire since it became mine was a trial by fire.......Pakistani POF Surplus. Loaded the mag up and all 20 rounds went off without a hitch....Also to my surprise the grouping was pretty good. No issues with cracked trunnions etc etc. This specific rifle was being sold through CDNN

All and all I am very impressed by this rifle with the exception of one thing. The inside of the receiver finish wise leaves something to be desired but functionality and finish are really nice on it. I am swapping out the Black stock set for German dark Green on Sun via a parts buddy of mine.

Should be a interesting day Sun as we're going to try to run it Full auto via a registered sear. Muhahahahahahaha
