    Default Vector 93K

So my Vector 93K came today and everything checks out except the bolt gap. My FFL and I both checked it using our own set of feeler gauges and we both got a .021 reading on the gap which to me is out of spec. Now I know it'll probably shrink once I fire it, but I was wondering what you guys would do? New rollers?

The fit and finish on the rifle is great, looks as good as the HKs I've handled, I'm glad it turned out to be well built after some of the horror stories I've read on here.

I'm planning on SBRing it on a form 1 some point soon, and as far as I can tell the flash hider isn't blind pinned on, it looks like it's been silver soldered. Anyone know for sure?

I'll post pics of it once I get it cleaned up better.

Personally, I'd be thrilled. it's on the large end, but that means there's a lot more life in it than if it were on the small side of the spectrum. Send it back and you just might get one worse off.

Shoot it, check it, and move on.... If it runs well, I wouldn't worry about it being a little on the large side.

That is a good looking 93k. Did it come with the vented hand guard?

Would you mind sharing where you got it and what you had to give for it?

It's one of the Kelly Enterprises VKE 93Ks, it comes with an A2 and A3 stock and a bayonet, I told him I only wanted the A2 stock, nothing else and got the price cut $300. I paid $1550 for it and I'm happy with it.

Just make sure the cocking tube gap is correct. Most of my clones were not.

    Sorry, I meant VKE.

Yea, I'm pretty sure the cocking tube gap is off, I haven't measured it but the bolt starts to unlock about halfway into folding out the handle. There is pressure the whole time and there isn't any slack in it. I've only ever used actual HK rifles so I don't have a clone to compare it to.

I was curious also as your gun has an SW receiver and the FH looks peculiar where it attaches to the barrel. (a sleeve)? Shoot the heck out of it.

Yes sir, agree 100%. As long as it's below .027, I'd be thrilled too.
