oh and i forgot it did the same malfunctions even after the 200 rounds with the factory grease cleaned and the gun lubed with CLP.
after wanting a MP5 for ages and playing with a PDW in Afghanistan, i finally bought a Vector PDW in 40SW. It looks great and the fit and finish seemed ok. they could have done better than the pain the has already started to chip off. so i take it to the range and start the break in process with 200 round of american eagle, and that is pretty much the end to my joy. jam after jam after jam, mainly failure to eject, and because of that failure to feed. so i figure out if i hold it really tight to me like a shot gun it functions fine, the ejected cases are thrown a very minimal distance, so i am thinking to must be the crappy US ejector spring( planing to change to German one) hopefully that fixes it all if not then all the springs and then a trip back to Vector. and since i live in Ca had to pin the stock so i can have the minimum 30 inches of over all lenght and had to cut the paddle release so in order to remove the magazine a tool is required(home made bullet button) well post pictures later. in the mean time any advise to make it run flawlessly would be appreciated. oh and from what i was told this is the last PDW Vector ever makes :)

Congratulations on the acquisition!!!
Sorry to hear about the finish problem!

I also had failures with my .40 clone, it worked, but not flawlessly.
I switched to factory HK mags and it runs like a top now, the mag that came with it was to blame for all of the failures.
also it doesnt seem to love low powered ammo, it works, but ejection is weak and cycling seems slow.
although, I have yet to have a failure with wolf, even with the original mag. almost like it extracts the steel case easier???
I had some issues with mine also, sent it back, and when it came back it worked well... also I changed from reloads (which suck anyways) to CCI
Blazer ammo which is relatively inexpensive and it really seems to like.
the Blazer ammo seems to really be the key, or at least quality ammo.
just my .02 cents.
Vector will stand behind their products unlike Coharie and their trash
I had issues with my Uzi and Vector repaired it no questions asked and turn around time was like 4 weeks.
Send it back and they will fix it.
Also I would put a HK ejector, Carrier and bolt group etc just to make it 100 %
Thats what I did with my clones just for good measure.
I know Vector stands behind their products and all, but i just dont want to send it out and not have it for a few weeks,(just a pet peeve of mine i guess). I Ordered German Extractor and extractor spring from hkparts and well get a couple of mags as well when they have them in. as for as ammo, i shot factory ammo out of it, and when i shoot reloads through it is gonna be my own reloads which i pay lots of attention to quality when i reload. pics are coming up in my next post. :)
