    Default PTR 91, Tac-Latch II and mag catch problem

    Greetings:

    I've searched through earlier threads on the PTR-91 and the Tac-Latch II.

    My PTR-91 (serial # A40xx) has sufficient space behind the magazine well for the HK91/93-type Tac-Latch which I purchased last week. However, the factory magazine catch shaft is round, while the clevis pin hole on the Tac-Latch is D-shaped, and the shaft won't fit through it.

    I understand that I can either:

    1) File the hole in the clevis pin until the shaft fits through it, or;

    2) Buy a new magazine catch with the shaft milled flat on one side (D-shaped cross section).

    I don't trust my skills with a Dremel or file enough to possibly ruin a $57.95 part, so I'll have to pass on option #1.

    Where can I buy one of these D-shaped HK91/G3 mag catches? I saw a mag catch for $6.00 on Robert @ RTG's web site, but the photo doesn't show enough detail. I just sent an e-mail to him, but don't expect an answer until after Memorial Day.

    Many thanks in advance.
