The only buffers worth considering are the HK buffers (heavy, etc). Not the rubber or poly "blackjack" or other buffers that can actually cause harm.
I was hoping to get some input on what upgrades would improve my MOA. I have a PTR91 KFM4, so far I have put a Magpul PSG stock on it, a Bill Springfield trigger job, and I changed the navy lower to a steel lower so I could add the PSG style grip. Can anyone tell me if T-rails would make a significant difference? Also are any of the improved buffers worth getting, if so which one. The only other thing I was considering was putting on a the 20 inch barrel that PTR offers. The gunsmiths I have spoken to have said that when upgrading the barrel you need to change the trunion to PSG style, but the guys at PTR say this is not the case, anyone have input. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated my ultimate goal is to have a PSG imposter with out spending a ton, wait I already have too late. This site is awsome I cant believe I waited this long to sign up.

Can these actually improve accuracy or just reduce recoil?
They jus reduce recoil. What type of groups are you getting now? What scope are you using? My 16" PTR shoots sub MOA all the time. How good do you want to get? The very best thing you can do is buy (or reload) a butt load of ammo and shoot, shoot and shoot! The better you are, the better.

I have a Leapould MK 4 3.5 x 9 on a B&T mount. I think I am about in the sub MOA catagory, but honestly the riffle is more accurate than I am. So I am sure trigger time is the answer. My roomate and I go to a long distance shoot every year at 700ish yards. I can hit the 4"x4" exploding targets with his bolt guns but not with my PTR. I want to hit them with mine is the goal. Thanks for your input.
at 700 yards 1 moa is a little over 7 inches so if your scope isnt perfectly zeroed you wont hit ia 4x4 target. have you shot against a bigger target to see where it is hittng. if the scope is zeroed at 100 yards you will need a bullet drop chart to get a starting point for 700 yards.
also what kind of ammo are you shooting? if not match try sorting them by weight and length to improve groups.

The heavy buffer may help in your concentration, it really tames the recoil. A set of receiver rails should help, its major surgery to install, contact IGF, RDTS..etc.
