The V51 SBR I shot was very nice. I shot a 4-5" group at 100 yrds. Very loud but cool.

Anyone know where there is an online review of the Vector v51 pistol or SBR? I am considering buying one, but would like to know how well they shoot being so short. How much accuracy/velocity is lost?
Thanks in advance, Jeff

I have a V51 pistol & I agree with all the above reports. I bought mine used from a friend so I knew it worked just fine. Came with a short HK bolt carrier & a new POF bolt head which is just a pretty as a HK one. The gun works flawless but had problems the 1st time out. Hosed away the white grease, used regular gun oil, & has been perfect since then. Kicks like a mule, but the best part is the ball of fire at the end of the bbl. You will be the envy of everyone at the range when you shoot it. When I take it shooting, if I let the rangemaster squeeze off a few rounds, I shoot for free that day. LOL. Well made & great finish. Enjoy. GARY N4KVE
I have a V51 SBR and agree it is a blast to shoot and quite the crowd pleaser. When it is shot the rest of the range just stops to watch! I installed one of the 2 stage heavy buffers in my A2 stock and the recoil is very mild with it. I could shoot it all day I believe. You guys should look into the heavy buffer. I have had zero malfunctions with it but I did replace the bolt head, locking piece, and trigger pack with factory HK parts. I have never shot mine past 50 meters or so but it is scary accurate at that distance.

I did a brief review of my pistol here:

It's about 1/3 the way down. The interesting part of that review is if you look at the pictures of us shooting the V51 everyone in the background is stopping what they do to watch. It you don't like attention THIS IS NOT FOR YOU!! lol. As others have said when you start shooting other people just stop and watch. It is an absolute blast. I didn't bother with sighting it in so I can't comment on accuracy.
I have had some issues with mine though. I found the locking piece from Vector was out of spec. I replaced it with an HK piece and everything is cool.
Here is some chrono testing:
