GSG5 SD model??????

I contacted my local Machine gun dealer in CT, I figured he would know what is legal and what isn't, but I inquired about the GSG5 in rifle...

He said he was waiting for 6 months to get one, and yes it is legal to own in CT...

before I get to the point, I asked about the Krinker plinker convert on a Ruger 10/22.

The Krinker has a folding stock which I would have to swap out or I guess pin in place...
Also, the Krinker kit says it has a FLASH SUPPRESSOR, but I believe this is a FAUX/FAKE, but in any case, my dealer said that even a FAKE suppressor is off limits to own for a rifle..unless I destroy it...


OK back to the point..

I saw the GSG5 rifle listed as having a screw on suppressor,,,as well as another article stating it is fixed onto the barrel permanantley, and serving no purpose..

Are there 2 different rifle versions of this GSG5,,, SD model?? being CT legal..
One with screw on, one welded or fixed to barrel??

I am hoping to get lucky on any of the gun sale sites and find one, but I want to be sure...

Or who has any gen 2 in stock.

Have you called JoJo's in Southington? I'd deal with him. He's accustomed to NFA items unlike most others in CT.

I've never heard anyone "in the know" to have anything other then good things to say about the crew at JoJo's.

I called Housatonic Valley firearms in New Milford CT..

I was told by another person that he was knowledgable in that area..


Says he is the only Class 3 in the area....
