What will void the lifetime warranty?

I assume stuff like trigger jobs will and possibly botched DIY LEM conversions. But what replacing the factory sights (assuming it was done correctly) with aftermarket ones like TruGlo, Meprolight, etc.

Many people mis-conceive the work "VOID" as it applies to warranty. What it actually means is that if you dis-assemble your pistol and cannot get it back together and it has to be returned to HK, you simply have to pay for that service. Once it is repaired and certified by HK to be serviceable and sent back to you, then your warranty is still in effect against manufacturing defect or parts breakage.

Note: Ammunition failures that blow a frame ARE NOT covered under warranty or damage due to improper night sight installation by a third party. You will have to pay for the repair, however the same applies...once we certify it to be functional...warranty is back in effect.
