I am in the market for a slb 2000 in .308 with an additional 6.5 x 55 barrel.I live in the wonderful blue state of california .I have seen a couple of these in 30-06 on auction sites , but no .308 .I would ideally like to start with the .308 or 6.5 x 55 .So if I started with the 30-06 where could I purchase additional barrels ? And or the .308 or even the .308 target model. How much do the barrels run $ ?? Please forgive me if I am asking in the wrong place and please point me un the right direction . Thank You !!!!!!!

Are you still in the market for a SLB 2000?
I found a 3006 and grabbed it for 800 .I am still in search of 10 rd. Mags and a 6.5 x55 barrel. I know the 3006 is what they sold in us but I would love to find out if they even manufactured the 6.5 x 55.
there are some mags on ebay:
H&K Factory New SLB 2000 10 Round Magazine in 30.06 | eBay
per HKPro the SLB2000 came in 6.5 x 55/7 x 64/.308 Win/.30-06/.300 Winchester Mag./8 x 57 IS/9.3 x 62
SLB2000
I doubt many barrels were exported to the US, so they would be difficult to find. HK transferred production rights for the SLB2000 to Merkel a few years back, and they are currently making the SR-1, based on the SLB2000 action:
Merkel:*SEMIAUTOMATIC RIFLE SR1 STANDARD | SR1 PREMIUM - ESPRIT OF THE GUN MAKER.

I know many barrel makers. If you can contact several of them, I'm sure they can give you a quote on a match grade barrel. Won't be cheap but if you WANT it, it CAN be done. My favorite barrel maker is Gary Shneider in Payson, Arizona. Get the polygonal rifled barrels from him (P5 rifling).
