USP Tactical: thread protector removal???

If trying to remove it the wrong way seems to have it hopelessly jammed on the barrel, put the thing in the freezer over night. Throw a little heat on the TP in the morning-just a little and only on the TP-and it will come off PROVIDING you turn it the correct way.

Funny...I picked up my new 9SD today, and encountered the same thing. Realizing however that it must be left hand thread before seeing this thread. The lefthand thread makes sense for a right handed shooter screwing on a supressor with the pistol in the right hand, suppressor in left and muzzel facing down range.

What does not make sense is why an MP5 is right handed, now you cant share supressors. adaptor maybe, but not from a tactical stand point.

Please chime in on this, I would like to know why.
