Default Another pic request: P2000sk & Kahr PM9/MK9

You guys have been great helping me via the internet since my local shops do not seem to have both in stock. I have a P2000sk and have been thinking of getting a pocket gun (something a little smaller than the P2ksk).

I have looked at many of the pocket 380s and decided I want to stick with 9mm. I shot a Rohrbaugh and, while it was very nice yet a bit small for even my small hands, I simply don't have the $ for such.

I would like to see if the Kahr PM9 or MK9 is really that much smaller and worth my time. If you have both, could you post a pic or two of them together? Thanks in advance!

Exactly what I was thinking. No offense intended to the OP.

Don't get me wrong. I love my P2ksk. If HK would just make a single stack in the same size I would be all over it. I'm just getting ready for summer in the south, and found an unbeatable deal on a Kahr MK9. Want to give it a try, but don't want to get it and it be about the same size as the p2ksk.

    Default MK9

mmcc100 I have had both pistols. I still have my H&K P2000sk the kahr mk9 is smaller then the p2000sk. The kahr was easier to conceal due to its size. The one I had shot nice and I did not have any problems with it. Depending on how I carried it sometimes I did have a hard time getting a whole of the grip. Because it was small other then that nice little pistol.

I have owned the PM9 and a MK40. They are small and quite concealable. However, that MK9 weighs a TON! Definitely pick one up before you buy. I bet you won't pocket carry the MK!!

I am considering a PPS, myself.

The closest I have to a PM9 is the CW9. Imagine 1/2" off both the grip and barrel and you have the PM9. I agree on the MK9 being simply too heavy for pocket carry.

If you're thinking of a true "pocket" gun, I would humbly like to recommend the Seecamp pistol in either .32 or 380. As an HK owner, I would think you're interested in quality workmanship and reliability, IMHO, Seecamp can't be beat in these areas. Here's mine:
