The USP Tactical is a beautiful weapon... Worn or otherwise!

In fact, I have one myself... Although mine has a bit less 'character' than the one in your pictures. ;)

I have to agree. I'm not even a fan of the USP format, but I have to tell you, "that is one sexy gun". It sure doesn't look worn, it looks well used, but used with love and care. Looking good.

Im sure the other guys are curious too! =)

Sure can. KK date code, purchased NIB by me Oct 99 for SWAT use. To date, not a single part has broke. I replaced the recoil spring at 6,505 rounds and again at 101,215. I replaced the mag springs when I bought it. Most used ammo was 185gr Gold Dot HP for the first 4 years and then 200gr +P Glod Dots and then to 230gr Gold Dots. According to my log book only 12,419 rounds of WWB and 11,200 rounds of UMC 230gr ball have been down the pipe. When I left SWAT last year I sent the gun to HK for a detailed inspection. I got it back 2 days later with a note from the armorer stating that everything was within specs, he replaced all the springs not out of necessity, but as a PM thing. The only parts that were replaced due to wear were the detent plate and the recoil spring and new night sights were installed. Cost for this 0.00. Now thats customer service! I used a supressor 4 times on actual call outs and actually pulled the trigger 3 of those times. The single action trigger pull breaks cleanly at 3.92 pounds (I haven't done anything to it). I have literaly shot/carried the crap out of this thing and it's like a Timex watch, takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'. BTW three of the four times it jammed were because the slide made contact with a barricade and the fourt time was a FTF due to an extremely dirty chamber.

    Wow,

Unbelievable. USP Tatical is my next investment for sure. Hopefully Monday I get a call from my FFL that my Mark 23 arrived. I had to send it to my dads FFL in South Dakota so my wife doesn't get her hands on it and sells it while I'm in Iraq. First week of April I get my hands on it. Can't wait

    Thanks for posting those details.

Makes me proud I got a USP tactical lol. My gun jammed on me twice so far, but that's due to using hand loads that my dad made, the bullets were too long. When using.. commercial ammo, it never failed. Haven't kept track of the EXACT number of rounds I fired through it.. I just keep estimate, probably about.. 800 rounds has been fired, every time I get back from the range, I clean it. It's amazing how you keep track of the # of rounds you fire through it.. to the exact number. As for the worn parts.. hah shows you got a long history with the gun, and know how to use it. Unlike all those glock new comers who still have their glocks in pristine condition that hasn't even been broken in yet. Though my next pistol is prob gonna be a glock 20.. they're good guns lol.

    Thanks Ripper!

Its great that you kept detailed logs on your service arm, no doubt just part of the every day paperwork for
    your job and continued training.

This is a testament to how well the USP .45 is made, and how well it will serve a shooter for a life time when
maintained and cared for properly (as any firearm should be).

Thanks for your service protecting the citizens of the Great State of Texas!

she's beautiful, i'd leave it just the way it is...
It is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly.
Fortunately, neither are aware of this.
