    This is why I dread taking a pistol shooting course. I started out with 1911's and Browning High Powers. Transitioning to a USP9F was seamless. I do not ride the safety or touch the slide release. I know from others experiences that most instructors would frown on this. As i will never be a speed/IPSC shooter, I will continue to use my method. I am fair steel/practicla pistol shooter.

    The best way to test your pistol is to have several buddies at the range take a few shots with it.
