Do a search on Pro Mags and you'll be upset, again. If it were me, return them!!
Hey All:
I just bought & received what I thought would be 6, 12rd HK USP magazines. What I got were 6, 12rd Pro-Mags. While I'm disappointed that what got weren't genuine HK mags, I can at least use the Pro-Mags for the range. I just wish that the sportsman guide had been clear in their advertising.

That has come up quite a few times here. I almost bought a few myself but it felt to good to be true at the time and it was. I would just return them and get money back. Or use them for the range... but nothing more.
Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I am with GT on this one, if I were you I would send those back for a full refund..

I bought two of the same from SG a while back and there is no doubt that they are inferior mags; you'll get a FTF just when you least expect it. I did much better buying several well used HK mags off of this forum's market place. They have their paint worn off in places, but they have never failed to feed.

Thanks guys, I think the Pro-Mags will be good for the range and nothing else. I'm just irked that sportsmans guide duped me.
LOL, don't worry about that, I've already marked them differently than the 5 genuine HK mags I already have.
Soooooooo you were thinking Sportsman Guide had HK mags for $25 that everyone else sells for $45?
You have the right idea to use them for range/practice magazines, though. Training with perfect equipment will breed false expectations of what happens when the "Criticality of Need Sensor" in the pistol activates during a real situation. If you don't get the unexpected stoppage during practice you'll not be prepared to deal with it when it happens. Mark your imperfect magazines for range use only. (Hard to find real HK magazines, though, that don't function perfectly!)
I picked up some 10 round USP9C magazines for training as well. Good gunfight ammo management is impossible and you should always keep a full magazine in the pistol. But in training if you start every engagement with a full magazine you don't get the opportunity to change magazines. I always shoot to slide lock during training. Sometimes this only gets me one round and requires a magazine change right then.

I've had good luck buying HK mags from CDNN. Their website is pretty straight up.
