Default HK LEM V?... + question

    Those in the know...

Starting with a stock V2 LEM on my P2000...I switched out the TRS & FBS per the great thread circulating around here. I then sent it to Bill Springfield to further enhance the trigger...bringing the pull down to +4 lbs. from the original +8 lb. pull.

In this configuration, I believed I running the LEM light, but I've recently read that changing out the hammer spring to the #214300 from HK further lightens the pull.

So...what is the Variant called when I switch all 3 springs? I believe the V4 Todd Green special is switching out 2. Is switching the 3 recommended?

Also...anyone know what pound spring the #214300 is?

    Thanks...

Part 214300 is the P2000 DA/SA hammer spring. The DA/SA hammer spring is lighter than the LEM hammer spring in the USP and HK45 so I assume it is in the P2000 as well.

But you're already sub-5 pounds. Not sure what you're trying to do here. Only costs ya $10 to try it. $5 for the spring and $5 for HKI to send to you.

    Chuck...

That's exactly what I'm doing...just exploring options that's readily available to me. Really, just tinkering with guns...what else will I do while not shooting.

What I don't want to do is tinker with my HD gun, to the point that it's no longer reliable. Hence the concern with the trigger spring. I've read that switching this hammer spring to Wolff 10pm has led to some light primer strikes for some.
I wouldn't mind a lighter pull...even if it's slightly lighter than 4-5 lbs., but not at the expense of reliability.
To add to the mix...I have not heard of anyone swapping out all 3 discussed springs from their V2...so I'm definitely interested in opinions on the matter.
