Coming from an M&P .... I had a brief, 2 month, stint with Glock before moving on to the P30. After 1500 rounds in 2 weeks, I feel like I'm 75% of the way there.

You can shorten your learning curve/time by staying with the basics

*Grip (Should stay consistent platform to platform if its correct)
*Sights (Line them up as always, where to place them can be determined in 5/10 shots at a given distance)
*Trigger (As much time as it takes to become proficient ... could take a lifetime)

I have several Glocks. Due to a accident my heavy all metal guns had to go. But my HK USP in 9mm and .45 both in stainless go no where. I never held a newer HK yet. I would like another smaller HK maybe a HKc in .40 like i once had or a 9mm. Should i just buy another HKc or look into a newer 2000 or P30?? thanks in advance, David BTW i've read that the trigger reset on the P30 is longer on it than the USP's.

LEM or send a V3 to Bruce Gray. Don't even have it sent to your FFL if you buy online. Ship that abomination straight to Bruce and save some freight. :)

Does that mean that if I purchased a pistol out of state online, for example from CDNN and had them send the pistol directly to Bruce Gray, would Bruce Grey be able to send the modified pistol directly back to me or would Bruce have to ship my pistol to a local FFL.

Pistol would have to be sent to an FFL, especially if you haven't completed a 4473 to transfer it to your name.
If CDNN sends your FFL the pistol and you've complete the transfer, then you can send it to Grayguns and they can ship directly back to you.

v3 are not that bad. Some are worse than others. My P30 was exceptional out the box, my P2000 has smoothed up like butter after 2k. but I had several USP's that were terrible and never smoothed up.

When I got my P-30, compared to the Beretta M9 that I carried and shot for years, I thought the trigger heavy and gritty. Now after many training rounds and dry fire it's just heavy. I like it as is and I don't mind the DA/SA thing. I am thinking of trying a G19 just for kicks.

Tulse was just saying that instead of having the pistol shipped to you so you can shoot it and see how "terrible" the trigger is, you should have it shipped directly to Bruce so he can make the trigger better without having to pay shipping to you, to Bruce, and back to you again.
