    Default Roll Marks

How long was the HK Sidearms roll mark utilized? Was it only used on the P7M8, or did it make it to other models while the company was in Trussville, AL for US imports? I have a BNIB P7M8 with the HK Sidearms roll mark now -- thanks to a forum member here. I can't say that I have seen many others with that roll mark. Is it that special that I shouldn't make this one a shooter??

Yes, I still have roll pins. Message me for details.

WTS: 3x14mm roll pins as used in many HK pistols. Other sizes also available. All proceeds donated to CCDL.us.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't that one of the M8's after the last 500?

Edit: It is also the same as what is now on the frames of HK pistols.

flyandscuba: Thanks for the pictures. I don't think I've ever seen that roll mark.

01deuce: It certainly looks like it. the "Last 500" were made in 06 (AG) but this one is marked 07 (AH)

The roll mark in question doesn't show up on the "Last 500" (http://www.gunfaqs.org/p7faq/VII/P7M8_AGDateCode.htm) so I would guess you will only find it on those made after the "Last 500" (2006 batch).

Thanks for sharing. I'm afraid I can't help you any with value.
    Stay safe!

Thanks guys! It appears that it may be somewhat "special". However, I bought it to use as a shooter/CCW... I just don't think I can turn it into a safe queen.
