I too had the FTRB with the 30SF and the 21SF. I had one of the first 30SF's to hit the market, and it gave me fits. That's why I don't do Glock 45's.

You can't "get" a 10mm USP, but they can be made. All you need is a USP 40, reamed out barrel, stronger recoil spring, and some STI mags that are modified to fit a USP. It's not the cheapest conversion, but it can be done.

Sorry, I guess I should've explained it better than just, "get a 10mm. USP" LOL

Glocks are like small block chevy's... Over abundant, and rarely impressive.

Do you need to have any slide work done at all? Isn't the OAL different on the 10mm than .40sw? There are several stainless USP's in .40 in my area and the only reason I haven't bought one thus far is that they are all in .40 and I prefer 9mm.

Which STI Mags? I'm not familiar with the brand.

Bruce Gray is probably the leading authority in changing STI mags to fit USP. I would say to give him a call to see what is involved and if it's fairly extensive (or if you just want the best in the business to do it in the first place) I bet he would be willing to mod some and sell them to you.

There was a marathon thread or two going on at GT last years about this problem. I can't help wondering it the G37 or G38 in the GAP may be better. I haven't heard anyone complain about those problems with those models. I do like the concept of a 45 in a G19 frame.

It has me, after shooting my HK45c for a couple of years and today (dare I say) I took my G22 to the today and I was shooting consistantly to the left. I know it's all in my grip.

Yes there was. I was all over that thread, and finally could not take it anymore and got out of that gun. I have no use for the GAP, or for the Glock platform in general; so I have just let it go.
