Default New Guy, New to HK...

I've been lurking on the forum for about a two months, trying to decide if I wanted to take the plunge into the world of HK. I've spent several months looking at HKs, Sigs, and 1911s at various local gun shops, lurking on the SIG forum and finally decided to go HK. I've fondled various HKs, P30, USPc, P2000, HK45C and HK45CT (I should have bought the CT), checked out the LEM vs the standard V1 and decided I'll stick with the V1 variant. Since I'm well stocked in .45acp, the HK45C is what I've decided to purchase as my first HK. I considered the USP, but I prefer the thinner profile of the HK45 series.

I've posted in the WTB forum as well.

The HK45 and HK45c are amazing pistols. The Hk45CT, is a professionals pistol. You can't lose with either of the three.

    Welcome aboard!

The HK 45C is a very fine handgun by any measure and a great choice.

I have a USP 45C and am very fond of it but my 45C has better ergonomics IMO.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm certain I'm going to like it here.

Since I've acquired the HK disease, now to decide what next. I'm thinking about a P2000SK (light LEM) for my Bride.
