P30 Compatibility

Newbie here... I was curious if I had a P30 9mm v3 and a P30 40 v2 LEM if I could simply swap the slides to operate the 40 as a v3 DA/SA? I'd assume P30 frames are the same like most pistols that come in both 9mm and 40S&W. Can anyone answer if this is doable? ... Better yet is there a reason this should not be done??

My answer was wrong because of lack of Coffee and my reading comprehension was on par with a slow first grader.

Actually the correct answer would be yes. If you take the .40 slide complete and use it and the .40 mags you can shoot the .40 on the V3 frame and it will function as a V3. The trigger pull will be slightly heavier due to the heavier V2 Firing Pin Block Spring that is in the .40 slide but you probably won't notice.
