    Default USP compact 9mm vs. P30 recoil

    I love my P30. I didn't plan on getting another gun for some time but I have recently been dry firing the usp compact 9mm at my local gun store. I really like the trigger on the usp. The reset is short and very clean. However, I don't have the ability to shoot it. How does the recoil compare. Also, I'm sure that both guns are better than me for accuracy but how do you all compare them? By the way, my p30 is V3 with SA / DA.
    Thanks.

    It's a 9mm. Both are smooth and easy to shoot. I own a USPf 9mm in LEM, P30 9mm, and the P2000 9mm. Recoil is smooth and easy on all of them. Then again, comes down to the individual.

    Personally, I find my USPc feels a little better than my p30. I think I am getting a slightly higher grip on the USPc. YMMV on which you prefer, but there is no need to fear the recoil. Even my girlfriend thinks the USPc shoots pretty softly... ;)

    I shot all 3 today..
    P30 had less recoil than the USP.
    P2000 was in between both, but less accurate.
    Both pretty gentle.
    Just asked my wife and she agrees.

    For me:

    P30 = Very soft
    P2000 = a little more felt recoil than P30
    USPc = a little more felt recoil than the P2000
