Default P7: to chrome or not to chrome?

A friend lent me his P7 for about 3 months and I fell in love. My previous carry gun was a USP40T and my current is an HK45 - when flying all day the P7 was certainly easier on my lower back.

I was thinking of getting one and sending it to Ford's Guns for a hard chrome job. I love the design, but my friend's was badly pitted from a stint in Panama and I'm guessing it will develop a little rust being carried on long, sweaty days. I blasted and refinished his with Moly Resin TM as a thank you for letting me borrow it. Also, chrome with Nill grips just looks awesome. What are your thoughts?

I have exactly the same proposition swimming in my head for my P7. I've never heard of Fords guns however.

Ford's does top notch work. He does wonders on the mill mark on M8s, and replaces the original roll marks as well. Really nice brushed hard chrome work!

If you are worried about rust nickel is more rust resistant than hard chrome. NP3 is great.

Melonine would work good also and keep the black look.
