Default Thumbs forward grip on the p2000

    Hello all,

Do any of you that use an aggressive thumbs-forward grip on the p2000 have issues with inadvertently hitting the slide catch during firing, thus preventing the slide from locking back after emptying a magazine?

    Regards,

Never had that problem and that is exactely how I shoot. I make sure that my thumbs are about 1/4 inch below the slide though. It doesn't take long to get used to and the becomes the only way you will grip it.

I had the same problem with my P2K but adjusted my grip and now shoot thumb over thumb. I have not had a problem with the slide not locking back and find the grip to be very comfortable.
