    Cool Hmmmmm

"guys, just received my gun today.

    they did not refinished it."
OK, magnum. What was their stated reason for refusal to refinish?????

Also, what did YOU do to it to make it look that way?????

Don't hold your breath for an answer. Like Greg Bell said, the BS meter is pegged in this thread. Even if magnumzero comes up with some kind of an explanation, it will probably be a lie.

In any case, I think we have given the troll a lot more attention than he deserves. Time to lock his threads IMO.

Kind of what i thought :/

possibly used some chlorinated brake cleaner or something? (i know that usually only affects polymer).

I'd like to hear the OP's responce as to why they didn't refinish it, but i have a feeling it wont happen.

As some of you have answered your own questions. I’m not going to go into details as I want to make this post a short one. I know after you read this more and more questions will arise. But this is it.

I did not put any chemicals that would harm the finish on the slide except MIL-L-63460 BREAK FREE CLP as I have said on the first page.

Regarding the paint lettering, on how I did it, refer to the sticky part under HK handgun talk.

After the slide was evaluated, examined, investigated etc., HKUSA concluded that it was a "defective and poor finish" I have two pages explaining it that they sent me together with the package. (For my eyes only)

Why the long wait??? And browsing around??? I talked and needed advice from moderators and senior members. Strickly confidential.

YES, THEY DID NOT REFINISHED MY GUN!

THAT IS TRUE!!! but HKUSA send me a BRAND NEW HK45 as a replacement with LEM VERSION as I have requested. FREE shipping and some goodies, everything as a COURTESY..

HK CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A 5 STAR!!!

A thought to ponder. As you walk your way through life you are either one of two things.......

Part of the problem or part of the solution.

I'll only believe that if these moderators and senior members show up to back you up. There's just too much questionable stuff in here.

Still sounds like BS to me. He stated they returned his gun and didn't refinish it. So are we to believe they let him have the one with the original bad finish and sent him another one?

"For My Eyes Only' and "Strictly Confidential" I guess if he told us he'd have to kill us.

As Maverick said, unless some of the "mods" and "Senior Members" speak up he's lost what little credibility he's had here.

i believe him. no one would lie about HK sending a new gun to replace a defective one. HK would immediately call him on it if he was lying. all manufacturers have problems here and there with quality control. just go to sigforum.com and search and you will see plenty of recent posts about finish and mechanical problems, relating to new sig purchases by members there. i say we give magnumzero an apology for making false assumptions and basically bad-mouthing him and calling his motives into question. here's mine; Magnumzero i am sorry.
