    Default Hk USP 9SD + TLR2 + EVO9

Just wanted to throw out some pictures, and also a question, regarding my USP.

I purchased a new Hk USP 9SD in mid November 2007. I vowed never to shoot it unsuppressed, and it stayed in the safe. I ordered an Advanced Armament Corp. Evolution 9 suppressor for it. That came in Friday, so I got to shoot it (finally).

    I also have a Streamlight TLR-2 mounted with a GG&G slim-fit rail adapter.

Here are a few photos. (a link to a video of the first time the gun was ever shot is at the bottom)

Here is a quick video of myself and a friend shooting the gun for the first time. Although it was not the first suppressed weapon we've shot, we were still pretty excited :)

My question is regarding the LEM trigger. Should I get one? And what exactly is involved with installing the parts? Is it something I can do myself? Also, where is the best place to get parts from?

    Thanks in advance.
I am going to take my USP to one of those gun exchange programs, where they give you $150 for your piece...they are way to dangerous, and someone could be hurt...like a criminal...and that would be the worst thing ever....

    that......

    is.......

    awesome!

how long does it take to get the NFA tax stamp? Is it only $200? How much is the suppressor?

I'd be giddy like a school-girl if I was shooting that. sweet. freaking sweet.

oh, and to address your question-

I think you can install it yourself if you get the kit, but that's all I know. I'm sure others will chime in with way more info.

    Mine took 45 days exactly.
    Yes, $200.
    I got my suppressor for $707 (+$200 stamp = $907).

    And thanks :)

have you ever shot an hk with an lem trigger before? for most people it's either love or hate. i suggest shooting the lem first before you go converting your gun. im glad i tried it out before settleing cuz i would have been real upset if i had gotten the lem, personally i cant stand it but other people love it.

    I can't say that I have.
I am happy with the trigger it has, I just always heard the LEM was better.

Great Set-up, I have been using the EVO-9 with the Insight HK light

The EVO has never given me any problems and works great plus is nice at quiet on both the USP and MP5

I really fricken love this setup though, I have the Suppressor, Tru-Glo TFO Sights and the Insight light. Minus the suppressor this is the gun I keep on my bedstand.

I'm glad to know that, they cashed my check in early March so it should be just about any day now.

    Very nice, and cool pictures.
I enjoy shooting the USP very very much. I have not had much practice with it yet, and have not had any other experience shooting Hk's.

But, its probably the best shooting gun I own (also own Glock, Walther, Kahr).

I will never shoot this gun unsuppressed, so I might have to pick up another full size USP, or a P30 to shoot+carry+night-stand defend.

You're not going to be carrying that, are you? If not, why get a LEM trigger? If anything, put a match trigger on it. The USP9 SD doesn't have the match trigger of the USP Tactical in .40 or .45 according to articles here on HKPRO.
