P7 PSP Magsafe shell jammed

i was told magsafe was the ammo to go for defense round especially live in a apartment complex......gunut45, are yo saying magsafe is crappy ammo? i hope not..paid a lot of money for like 9 rounds

They are gimmicky. Don't fall for that stuff. Just like extreme shock ammo. Pick up some federal or Speer HP ammo by 25-50rnd boxes. Let me know if you have any problems. My guess will be NO.

Also, don't go for those frangible kind. Testing shows they do not penetrate enough to reach vital organs, especially if you have to shoot through thick clothing or barriers.

Magsafe launches pre-fragmented bullets that weigh very little. A normal 9mm JHP will run about 115-124gr. The Magsafe's are only 50-64gr. and are cooking at incredible velocity. I'm guessing the powder charge was so high it caused the fired case to bulge and force it's way into the chamber flutes thus making the case get stuck in the chamber.

that's what i'm guess, but wasnt sure, since its just +P rounds, i wonder how about other +P rounds like Corbon and Federal....
man, this suck!, i paid so much for those damn ammo.
