Can you get the HK45 with the threaded barrel rather than purchasing barrel afterward

My first handgun purchase was a USP45 Stainless. I currently have a few USP's and a P7. I'm interested in purchasing a HK45 but would like it to be set up for a suppressor rather than pay full price and then have to spend over 200 on a barrel. Is this possible? Can I call my HK dealer and order one that way or am I stuck. I wanted to mod my USP45 for a threaded barrel but I can sell it and buy a new USPT cheaper. I was just curious if they made something comparable to the USPT in the HK45.

The HK45 is not yet available in a tactical model. The only choice is to buy a threaded barrel afterward (at least for now). Perhaps the previous poster is thinking about the USP tactical?

It would not surprise me at all to see the HK45/C and maybe P30 Tactical versions at SHOT. I don't know anything anyone else doesn't know so this is only a hunch. Stay tuned...

My booth is just a pitching wedge from HK's at SHOT. I'm kinda curious myself. Given all the hiccups in HK supply though, anything is possible. Delivery, OTOH, is a SWAG...

About a week and a half in Orlando. It's an industry only show, as in no general public. You might be able to wangle a badge from a friendly FFL, though.

I wouldn't make the trip even though I'd love to. I was just curious if I should wait until after the shot show to decide to purchase the HK45 or see if there is a new model release with the tactical barrel.

All the dealers around me were swearing 20% price increase for 09 but I haven't seen that reflected in prices yet. Anybody know what if any price increases are coming from HK this year?

I'm in PR. but my dealer was saying the same to me.... 20% price increase in jan 09...
I think he was talking as a store increase rather than a supplier increase though.

And then he added.... "and now with Obama you never know what will be available"...

Maybe it was just a sales pitch to make me decide on the spot....

Please walk over there and politely ask them what's up with the parts supply and when will the HK45 medium grip inserts be in stock. I have been waiting on one since Oct. I'd love to hear an official response.
