Is it just me, I find the DA trigger pull on my P30 is mucho better than the USP's I've had. Those were horrible, but the P30 is smooth not unlike a well used Sig 226.
Did I just get really lucky or are the new HK45's HK45c as bad as the old USP's?

I would recommend buying a bunch of snap caps and dry fire the crap out of the pistol. The USP triggers definitely smooth out considerably with use. A conversion to LEM will also help as the first pull is long but lite and the reset for the follow up shots is pretty darn quick. I have converted both of my USP 45's to LEM and I don't even want to shoot anything else.
Did you have a range ceiling hunting permit, or were you poaching? ;)

I agree the DA is pretty sucky, I carry cocked and locked so it really is not an issue.
