that holster you have shold be pretty tight. The USP 45 is a bit wider/taller/longer. Have you tried Blade-tech?
I contacted Blackhawk! last year about getting a Serpa Level 3 duty holster in black basketweave for my HK USP .45f. Their reply was that one is in the works and it would be available in 30-45 days. That was August 2008. I guess one is going to be available for the 9mm and .40 version, but not the .45 full size.
WTF! They could have made one holster for all three weapons by making it about a quarter inch longer so the .45 with a 4.41 inch barrel does not stick out. I work in a night traffic unit looking for drunk drivers. I get in and out of the car many, many times. I'd rather a $100 holster take the beating instead of the business end of an $800 duty gun.
My USP .45 fits in the Serpa level 2 paddle holster but it sticks out a bit. Why not make the duty holster a bit longer and save the tooling costs on making an additional holster that is "not in the works" at this time.
I guess I'll look for a Safariland to replace my Bianchi Accumold Elite that I am not in love with.
