Do yourself a favor and get either a factory A3 stock with the cutouts for the BHO, or get a real B&T folder. The cheap stuff is cheap for a reason...
FWIW, I put the B&T folder on my 40 sbr.... love it to death
Hey Guys,
Just traded for an 40 Cal MP5 SBR, Anywho it has an A2 fixed stock and I would like to Put a folder on it. I was looking at this one from Black market partshttp://http://www.shop.black-market-...8&productId=58
I also found this one at Blackthorne products
http://akpartskits.com/cart/index.ph...roducts_id=427
Or this one from HKparts.com
http://http://www.hkparts.net/Pictur...OCK%20NEW1.JPG
The one from HK parts is the only one that is specifically listed for the .40 cal variant of the MP5, Do you think the others would work?
Thanks,
Jason

UrbanKnight,
Thanks for the Reply.
Since you have the B&T Stock lemme ask you a few questions, Which way does the stock fold? toward the Ejection port or toward the cocking handle?
If toward the Ejection port, does it block the port?
Hows the Cheek weld, similar to the A2 of very different. I'm considering putting an Aimpoint or Eotech on mine.
Thanks,
Jason
The stock folds to the right (ejection port side). The clone stocks fold left (I think that is how they avoid legal issues with B&T). The top of the stock sits right at the base of the ejection port. It will not block it during fire while closed if that is what you are looking at.
I love the cheek weld, it is actually why I ended up with this stock. I am a tall/long armed guy. I got the 11.25' stock , they make a 10 inch or so as well.. it is about 3/4 to 1" longer than the A2 stock, so it is PERFECT to me... It is like the A2, rock solid, just a bit more LOP.
If I went with an A3 style stock, I would have to get the "F" model to get the same LOP< but I don't like the look of the F, so the B&T is the best of both worlds.
would you be willing to post pics with the stock folded and unfolded?
The Stock that is listed on HKparts.net is a B&T I jst dunno length of pull it will produce.
I'm 6'4" so a LOP of 13" to 15" is very comfortable for me
Do you have a link to the B&T stock that you purchased with Pricing
Thanks,
Jason
I shoulda Known better than to ask for Pics, Now I'm Drooling and shaking with Anticipation of recieving Mine from my dealer after all the paperwork is done/approved.
Yours is beautiful, I guess I'll just have to order a stock and a couple mags and wait a couple months, Of course the Good news is I can goto his shop and go shooting anytime I want between now and approval
Thanks,
Jason
