Interport G3s...Pre or Post '89 Ban?

Were all Interport G3s Pre 1989 import ban? Or were some post '89? Also did all of them have straight cocking tubes or were some tapered? I thought only Indep receivered guns imported by Century were postban but I don't know for sure...

If it's postban there will be an "X" prefix on the model name.

I am going to go out on a limb and say--- "post-89"!!! :D
The reasons being: ;)

1. Receivers only--- so, it will be a build,
2. SN's are 91ATXXXX--- 91, presumably the year of manufacture.

As an aside, if you are viewing the one FS on GB, note the seller states that the rifle was imported prior to the "Clinton" ban of "89"--- the Clinton part (i.e., 1994) is probably correct.

So definitely a post 89 import.
