Guys,
At my local gun store there is this giant flagpole with a trigger known as an Armalite AR-50 and it's screaming my name!! Was thinking about selling my UMP since it's just a safe queen and using that to pay for most of the .50.
What do you guys think? Bad decision or good?
Though it is fun to shoot, it's just too nice of a rifle and I have too much invested in it to cause possible harm to it. I don't shoot some of my guns, strictly for collecting reasons.
With the recoil, limited gun range allowance, and cost of the .50 I would rather have the UMP conversion.
Will you shoot the .50?
If so, yes, do it. We have them to enjoy, and you can't take them with you, so EARS ON!
FIRE!
Yeah man, I tell ya what, man, them dang ol’ HKs, man, talkin' bout SUH-WEET, man, dang ol' point and click, baby, just, just, dang ol' awesome, man.
.25 cents a round vs. $6.00. I enjoy shooting my UMP .40 conversion. I'd take it out of your safe and shoot it!
Oh yeah, granted its going to be more expensive. I just want something that's totally different than any of my other guns. While the UMP is fun, it's just not something I really itch to take out to the range all the time. Now, my PTR and S&W 1911... those are another story.
NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
a ump for an erectile dysfunction rifle....i think NOT!
What? Erectile Dysfunction rifle????
The deciding factor is going to be IF anyone buys my UMP conversion. If not, then I'm stuck with it.
I have a UMP in 45 and 9mm and can tell you that i take it out WWWAAAAYYYYY more often that i take my beowulf out. The beowulf is fun to shoot, but at the price(and i reload) it just turned into a safe queen, the ump is meant to shoot in CQB, if you want a different round, get a grendel, its devastating in CQB and can reach out and touch someone as far as 1200m. It will probably be my last gun purchase.
