Call me crazy, but I prefer the real paddle style release. Sure, it costs more and there is some work involved, but it just looks so much more clean. My .02

OK... you're crazy. Gotta remember, back when I put it on the FMP there really weren't any gunsmiths doing anything to HKs. And the cost is significantly less, even today.

But for the purist, when nothing else will do and money is no object, I'd agree. OEM parts is the best way to go.

Okay, They'll work on a 91 and clones. Has anyone tried these on a 93/33 or a MP5/94, clones?

I have two H&K 93's and have been itching for a paddle release on at least one. If these latches don't alter the firearm.

I really don't want to modify the rifles from their original condition. A paddle install would cost : parts, install, and refinishing. Installing this release w/ a little yankee ingenuity would be ideal for what I want.

Here is a link to Tac-Latch II's photo page on their site. It shows the release working on the 91, 93, and the 94.

Any updates on these? Particularly current production Tac-Latch II used on an Hk91.
