I just got my HERA SL8 conversion. I've got to say that the conversion kit is very well made, much much better than the USC conversion by them. I'm very impressed by it and recommend it to anyone thinking of doing the conversion.

What hand guard are you using on your SL8, or what rails are you using?

I'm using a Brugger & Thomet rifle length hand guard with a G36E barrel .

I used a fixed ACR stock on mine, I personally like the look of the fixed stock over the folding ACR stock(I know I am in the minority on that).

    Hi all
I can't remember if USC and SL8 trigger groups are the same or not. Does anybody know can I use USC trigger group on BCK gen2.? Just happen to have one extra USC trigger group.

None. You do have to mod one the springs in the fcg slightly, but otherwise everything fits and locks up nice and tight.

Any idea which kind of hand guard they are using in the HERA demo photo? It seems to be more squarish compared to the more triangle shaped one on the G36

I bought a Hera Gen. 2 and an ACR folder for my SL8 recently. Assembled the 2 together, but haven't installed the internals in the lower yet. I'm dreading having to deal with all the little springs and such. Fit and finish on both receiver and stock are excellent. Hera sent along a nice manual that explains the transfer of internals, which may be useful. I haven't tried following their instructions yet, so I don't know how accurate they are. Anybody have any experience with this part of the operation? (following the parts transfer instructions from the manual, that is).

    Thanks,
